The road is totally paved (since 2006). It’s 10.6km (6,58 miles) long running north-south from Kallikratis to Kapsodasos. The road starts at Kalikratis, a small mountainous village in Sfakia municipality, southwest Crete, at the foot of the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) and ends at Kallikratis, situated off the beaten tourist path, made up of four widely separated neighborhoods that are scattered on a small plateau. The drive offers great views of the Libyan (Southern Cretan) Sea and the Frangokastello plain.
